Hey everyone!  We would like everyone to know that on every Wednesday after school, there will be anime club meetings! These are smaller meetings, held in the reading room. Some examples of the types of things we do are having debates about characters and series, bring in new manga and anime to share with everyone, and many other exciting things!

Specialized Meetings:

 

September:

          -Manga reading in the library after school, a social meet-and-greet for all of the

           new members and veterans of the club

 

October:

          -T-shirt Design Contest

          -Art class at the Roscoe North Suburban Library on the 21^st

 

November:

Date: 11^th

 

          -Release of new manga books (people who come to this meeting get first dibs!)

          -Candy Sushi

          -Pocky Tasting

 

December:

          -Anime Karaoke (Anime style American Idol)

          -Draw your favorite anime/manga characters in school-appropriate Christmas

          Clothing! All entries will be scanned and put up here on the website under the art tab.

 

January:

          -Movie– Romeo + Juliet

 

February:

          Writing contest:  Create your own character.  Winner gets a prize package

          from the library and has their character drawn.

March:

          -Many students are going on their own to Anime Milwaukee—see Sam to set up a ride.

 

April:

          -AMV contest:  make your own animated music videos, fan flashes, or slideshows.

            We will watch them and vote on the favorite at the April meeting.

 

May:

        -Ani-May-nia trivia contests–lots of prizes!!!

           MAY 19 from 3:30-5:00 in the library.
